(Bonne Terre, MO) The Bonne Terre Spring Fling takes place in May and has many features and family events including the 3 day Great Radio Controlled Aircraft Spring Air Show at the Bonne Terre Airport.
The Air Boss and Event Coordinator for the Airport, Michael Johnston, says the hobby of radio controlled flight has grown over the last few years.
According to Johnston you can watch the professional RC Pilots fly and you can learn more about how to fly RC planes and helicopters with the RC Aircraft Flight Simulator they'll have at the event. Enjoy food and full size aircraft on display.
The air show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 10th, 11th, and 12th at the Bonne Terre Airport. Admission is $5 daily per car or SUV and it's $10 a day for a loaded full size van or similar vehicle.
Johnston says they're also looking for volunteers for the air show and to help at the airport.
