Romine Education Scholarship at MAC

(Park Hills, MO) A new scholarship is being developed at Mineral Area College. The Senator Romine Education Scholarship will be used to benefit students of the 3rd Missouri Senatorial District. The scholarship fund was established through an initial $10,000 donation from former Missouri Senator Gary Romine. Romine served as Senator from 2013 to 2020, before being appointed as Chairman of the Missouri State Tax Commission. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded annually to a Mineral Area College student from the 3rd Senate District who intends to complete a degree in Education. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate a financial barrier to enrolling in college. Students may apply for the scholarship by ensuring their MAC Financial Aid Application is current and on file by February 15th each year.
