Schmidt Running for US Senate

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmidt will run for the United States Senate seat held by Roy Blunt. Missouri 3rd District State Senator, Elaine Gannon, says she feels Schmidt would do a good job if elected.

Schmidt will go up against former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, who has also announced a run for the position, in a Republican primary.
