Serious Injuries in Ste. Genevieve County

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO) A man from Festus, 65 year old, Mark A. Davis, is suffering serious injuries after being hurt in a 1 car accident Sunday morning, about 10:00 o'clock, in Ste. Genevieve County. According to Highway Patrol reports Davis was driving south on Interstate 55, at mile marker 161, when he began to overtake another vehicle. Davis lost control of his car and it ran off the road crashing into a rock bluff. He was taken to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Davis was wearing his seat belt when the wreck took place.
