St. Francois County Highway 67 Crash

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A man from Park Hills, 43-year-old Lucas J. Hale, is recovering from moderate injuries after a two vehicle crash in St. Francois County Monday afternoon at 2:37 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Hale was driving a pickup north on Highway 67, south of Fairgrounds Drive. He came upon another pickup being driven north, at a slow rate of speed, by 79-year-old John F. Myers of Farmington. Hale's truck crashed into the rear of Myers' vehicle.

Hale was transported to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis while Myers, who received minor injuries, was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington.

Myers was wearing a seat belt during the crash while Hale was not wearing his.
