St. Francois County Property Tax Rollback

(Farmington, MO) The property tax in St. Francois County is being rolled back. The Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Harold Gallaher, says the rate is going down from 6 cents per $100 assessed valuation to 2 cents.

Gallaher adds he encourages residents to look at their tax bill each year and see how the funds are divided up amongst the different entities in the county.
