Steelville Resident Dies in Crash

Phelps Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Steelville resident, 22-year-old Gabriel K. Peak, is dead after a two vehicle crash in Phelps County Thursday afternoon at 2:15 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Peak was heading south on Highway 63, near County Road 6220, when his vehicle crossed over the centerline and crashed into the front of a diesel truck, driven north by 42-year-old Rajan N. Taylor, of Potosi.

Peak was pronounced dead on the scene. Taylor was not injured.
