Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The 2nd Annual Summer Nights Arts Festival, presented by the Mineral Area Council on the Arts, begins Friday afternoon in downtown Farmington.

Executive Director of the Council, Tiffany Gallaher, says they'll have over a dozen artists featuring blacksmithing, the Parkland Writer's Circle, leather working, and plenty of music.

According to Gallaher Saturday's activities begin at 11 a.m. The festival takes place between Ophelia's and 102 Tap House on Jefferson Street.

Gallaher adds Jefferson Street, between Harrison Street and the Jefferson Street Plaza, will be closed for the festival beginning at 2 p.m. Friday. Access to the public parking lots will be available from Harrison Street. The street will open up again Saturday night at midnight.
