Sunday Madison County Crash

Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A woman from Patton, 19-year-old Abigail N. Fulton, and a man from Potosi, 19-year-old Billie J. Birkemmeier, are recovering from moderate injuries after a crash in Madison county Sunday afternoon at 6:10 p.m.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports indicate Birkemmeier was driving a pickup south on Madison County Road 247, a half mile south of Highway 72, when the truck ran off the road and rolled over.

Birkemmeier was taken to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown. Fulton, a passenger in Birkemmeir's truck, was transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Birkemmeier was not wearing a seat belt during the wreck. It's unkown if Fulton was wearing hers.
