Teen Seriously Injured in Accident

Bollinger County, Mo. (KFMO) - A Marble Hill teen is recovering from serious injuries after an accident in Bollinger County Tuesday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, at 9:20 p.m., the 17-year-old juvenile was driving a truck on Missouri Highway 34, a half mile east of Highway B, when he struck a deer, ran off the roadway and overturned. The juvenile was then ejected from the truck.

He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau for treatment. The juvenile was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
