The City of Bonne Terre Presents Hometown Christmas Market

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Bonne Terre is set to transform into the holiday season for its Hometown Christmas Market on Saturday, November 30th, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Bicentennial Park, Heritage Hall, and The Iron Knot. With the theme “Jingle and Mingle,” the event promises a festive experience for families, with plenty of activities for all ages.

Bonne Terre Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Matt Crabtree shared that the market will feature a wide range of holiday attractions for the entire family. 

Crabtree mentioned that there will also be food, drinks, children’s crafts, photo opportunities, and LIVE music throughout the day. Santa will be making appearances all day, and families can enjoy free pictures with him from 9 a.m. to noon at The Iron Knot.

The holiday spirit continues with free children’s activities, such as writing letters to Santa from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and storytime with Mrs. Claus from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. One of Santa’s reindeer will also make a special appearance from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Children can participate in a character scavenger hunt from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for added fun.

Adults and kids alike can enjoy free carriage rides from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and warm up by the bonfire with s'mores from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The festivities will conclude with a community tree lighting at 6 p.m., accompanied by LIVE music from Rhapsody in Bicentennial Park.
