Tuesday Night Madison County Crash

Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A man from Silva, 58-year-old Mitchell Barks, is recovering from moderate injuries after being involved in a crash between his car and a semi-truck in Madison County Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Barks was drving south on Highway 67, a half mile north of Cherokee Pass, when his automobile crashed into the towed unit of the truck which was being driven south by 34-year-old Gilberto T. Castillo, of Balch Springs, Texas.

Barks was transported to Parkland Health Center at Farmington. Castillo was not injured. Barks was wearing a seat belt during the crash. Castillo was not.
