Washington County Fatal Crash

(Washington County, MO) A fatal motorcycle crash in Washington County is blamed for the death of an Irondale man, 30 year old Adam J. Sapp, who died Saturday night a little after 10 pm. According to Highway Patrol reports Sapp was driving the bike west on Route E, near Wicket Road, when he lost control of the motorcycle and it ran off the right side of the road, struck a mailbox, and rolled over. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Sapp's passenger, 50 year old Bonne J. Sapp, of Cadet, received moderate injuries and was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi. Neither of the two involved in the wreck was wearing a helmet when the crash took place.
