Washington County Weekend Crash

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A man from Richwoods, 40-year-old Terry E. Smith, is recovering from serious injuries, while a woman from Cadet, 31-year-old Sierra D. Reando, as well as a 16-year-old male juvenile from Blackwell, are recovering from moderate injuries after a two vehicle crash in Washington County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred Friday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. as a pickup driven north on Highway 47, near Cedar Hills Road, by 18-year-old Blayn A. Perry, of Blackwell, was stopped attempting to turn onto Cedar Hills Road. An SUV, driven south by Smith, began to turn onto Cedar Hills Road, crashing into Perry's truck.

All the injured were taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital at Potosi. Perry was not injured. Everyone except Reando was wearing a seat belt during the crash.
