Woman Faces Child Abuse Charges

(Viburnum, MO) A woman from Viburnum, 36 year old Amanda Little, is facing charges of two counts of Abuse Or Neglect Of A Child after she is alleged to have refused to call for help for a 13 year old girl who had intentionally overdosed and required medical attention December 5th of last year. Reports indicate the girl overdosed after Little is said to have hit and choked the teen December 4th. It's also reported the girl snuck out of the home to get treatment and was helped by Phelps Health in Rolla and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
