Wreck Kills Perryville Man

(Perry County, MO) A man from Perryville, 62 year old Thomas J. Unterreiner, is dead after he was killed during a Perry County traffic accident Tuesday involving an S.U.V. he was driving west on Highway P, about a half of a mile east of Perryville. Troopers with the Highway Patrol indicate Unterreiner lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the right side of the road. He overcorrected and it went off the left side of the roadway, striking an embankment, and throwing Unterreiner out. He was pronounced dead moments after the wreck took place. The accident happened about 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. Unterreiner was not wearing a seat belt when the wrack occurred.
