Donna Lee Marie Hasemeier (Garner), age 78, of Bonne Terre, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Donna was born December 19, 1945 to the late Leslie Arthur and Rozalia Mary (Howard) Garner in St. Louis, Missouri. Donna worked as a childcare provider for many years in her home and worked outside the home at Midwest Library Service in Bridgeton and at the North County senior high school cafeteria in Bonne Terre. She was active in her parishes at St. Sabina in Florissant and St. Joseph in Bonne Terre, as well as the Knights of Columbus. She was a huge Elvis fan and avid reader of Stephen King novels. Her greatest joy was dancing with the love of her life and spoiling her sons and grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Mark David Hasemeier Sr.
She is survived by her two sons, Mark David Hasemeier, Jr. and wife Jamie of Webster Groves; Andrew John Hasemeier (Mindy) of Bonne Terre; seven grandchildren, Clara, Peter, John, Ruby, Savannah, Haley, and Lydia; brother, Leslie Gerard Garner and wife Donna, nephews and niece.
Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Redeemer Church in Webster Groves, Missouri on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10 AM until time of Mass at 11 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
