Ernie Edmonds of Farmington, Missouri was born on September 15, 1943, in Doniphan, Missouri to the late Daily and Marjorie (Walker) Edmonds. Ernie was a conductor for the Rail Road and was a pilot and loved flying in his earlier years, He enjoyed playing guitar, fishing and spending time on the lake and spending time with his friends and family. Ernie was preceded in death by his bothers Bob and David Edmonds and his fishing buddy his brother in-law Bill Allen. Ernie passed away in his home in Farmington, Missouri on July 12, 2024.
Ernie is survived by: His wife, Connie Edmonds, Daughter, Sherry Laramie, Step-daughters, Mandy Harris and her husband Mike, Brandy Jones and her husband Corey and Carista Dougherty and her husband Sean, Sisters, Norma Allen and Sarah Taylor and her husband Ronnie, Grandchildren: Daniel Laramie, Elizabeth Laramie, Joshua Scherffius and his wife Airika, Ryne Scherffius and his wife Cassie, Jathan Thilking, Tayler Jones, Reagan Dougherty and soon to be Nora Dougherty. Great Grandchildren, Saylor Scherffius and Parker Scherffius, Several nephews, nieces and many friends and family.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2023 from 4-8 P.M. and service Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11 A.M. in the Coplin Family Funeral Home, Bismarck, Missouri with Chaplin Kevin Kappler officiating , Interment in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Bismarck, Missouri.
