Freeman Ray Miller, of Farmington, passed away on September 30, 2024, at his residence at the age of 64. He was born on February 3, 1960, in Warrenton, Virginia, to Sylvan and Ida (Yutzy) Miller.
Freeman is survived by his father, Sylvan Miller; his wife of 43 years, Mabel (Eash) Miller; his children, Jeffrey (Kelly) Miller, Kaylene (Leon) Coblentz, Glendon (Lisa) Miller, Daryl (Kendra) Miller, Kevin (Carol) Miller, Kendall (Krystal) Miller, Joshua (Jessica) Miller, Abigail (Wendell) Hostetler, and Jesse (Kari) Miller; also surviving are two brothers, three sisters, and twenty-two grandchildren.
Freeman was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Miller, and his brothers, Jonathon Miller and Kenneth Miller.
Freeman dedicated most of his life to general construction, often stating, "I was born with a hammer in my hand." He took pleasure in hunting, socializing with people, and above all, cherished spending time with his family.
Calling hours will be held on October 3, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Farmington Mennonite Church, 3810 Green Road, Farmington, MO 63640. A funeral service will be held on October 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Farmington Mennonite Church. Interment to follow the funeral service at the Mennonite Church Cemetery.
