Linda Gail Rutherford, age 61, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at her home in Fredericktown, Missouri. She was born on August 2, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri to James Lewis and Ruby Juanita (Masterson) Kanaday I.
On July 29, 1995, in Fredericktown, she was united in marriage to Timothy “Tim” Rutherford, he survives at the home.
Other survivors include their two children – Chelestina Crosser and husband, Jeremy of Mansfield, Missouri and Nigel Rutherford and wife, Tiffanie of Fredericktown; three grandchildren – Alligayl Rutherford, Serenity Rutherford and Kolson Rutherford; three step grandchildren - Quynton Fleming, James Paul Beard IV and Karsyn Beard; one brother – Pete Faniola Jr. of Jackson, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Kanaday I, her mother, Ruby Kanaday-Harpole and one brother, James Lewis Kanaday II.
Linda had worked as a Coding Analyst One at the Centene Corporation in Farmington, Missouri; she enjoyed sewing and embroidering; she was a member of the Madison County Republican Club and was a volunteer at the Bible Way Assembly Church Food Bank in Doe Run, Missouri and a member of Crossroads House of Prayer in Belleview, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., also on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Jones officiating.
Interment will be at Oddfellows Cemetery in Fredericktown.
