Sharon Leona Cole, 78, of Farmington, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sunday, May 12, 1946, to the late Orville LaRose and Helen (Keay) Dalton.
Sharon will forever be remembered for her love of playing bingo and cherished moments spent with her family and grandchildren. Her caring nature and warm smile touched the lives of many, she will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Rains; sister, Lucille Brewer; granddaughter, Sara Skiles, and the father of her children, J.D. Cole.
She is survived by her daughter Sheila Hood; son, John (Priscilla) Cole, Jr., as well as her grandchildren, Robbie (Jen) Kindlesparger, Megan (Cody) VanGennip, John (Sarah) Cole, III, Jessica (John) Bonicamp, Jennifer (Herman) Smith, James (Katie) Rains; fifteen great-grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 11 a.m. until service time of 1 p.m. with Pastor Alan David officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Bismarck, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
