(Farmington, MO) The Farmington Knights used multiple offensive threats to power their way passed the Arcadia Valley Lady Tigers in straight sets, 25-9, 25-11, 25-10.
Ava Cooper totaled eight kills unofficially, while Madison Mills had five kills, three aces and a block. Brenna Botkin collected seven kills and three aces in the winning effort.
The Knights kicked off the match on a 13-3 run and never looked back. They trailed just once all game at 1-0 in the third set. The match featured just two ties and one lead change.
Kayla Sumpter led Arcadia Valley with six kills unofficially and Paige Newstead-Adams collected four kills, an ace and a block.
Farmington (6-1) hosts Festus tonight, while Arcadia Valley (0-2) gets its home opener against Lesterville this evening.
