(Park Hills, MO) The eighth seeded Jefferson Blue Jays defeated the Ste Genevieve Dragons to secure ninth place and the consolation bracket championship in the 68th annual Bob Sechrest Jr. Central Christmas Tournament.
Jefferson was led by a 25 point game from Nate Breeze, shooting 50% from the field and 4 for 7 at the free-throw line. He was helped by Kaleb Weiler, who put up 12 points and shot 75% from the field. Jeffery Hunter led Ste Genevieve on the scoresheet with 15 points and four rebounds.
The Blue Jays end the tournament with a record of 3-1 and the Dragons finished with a record of 2-2.
