(Bonne Terre, MO) North County Senior Jobe Smith is hanging up his hightops and baseball mit after this school year to continue his football career at the next level after signing a national letter of intent committing to Southwest Baptist University.
Smith was a member of the Raiders Varsity club all four years of high school setting a school record for Career Rushing Yards (4,380). He ran a total of 492 times, averaging 8.9 yards per carry and 63 total touchdowns.
The Raiders' dynamic run threat had the hands to convert passes as well, catching 43 of 47 passes thrown his way in 4 years. He tallied 616 career recieving yards and 4 touchdowns, while averaging 14.3 yards.
Smith was the perfect target over the last two seasons catching 29 of 29 passes.
North County used Smith at quarterback for parts of the last two seasons. In total, he was 8/12 passing from the pocket for 81 total yards.
