(Farmington, MO) The Sikeston Bulldogs and Farmington Knights squared off at Richardson Field. Farmington wasted no time establishing their identity and scoring points, as Kaesen McClain exploded in the rain for a 50 yard rushing touchdown early.
The rushing touchdown was a sign of things to come for McClain, as he finished the first half with 150 rushing yards and 2 more rushing touchdowns in the first half. He finished his night with 161 rushing yards as Farmington never trailed on Homecoming Night, defeating Sikeston 45-6.
Farmington would add touchdowns via a Tatum Tinsley interception return for a touchdown on Pierce Baker’s first pass, as well as touchdowns on the ground from both Josh McCarthy and the quarterback Brett Drye, who added 2 rushing touchdowns of his own without throwing a single pass in the rain.
Farmington’s win improves their record to 3-2. Sikeston drops to 2-3.
