(Calgary, AB) The St. Louis Blues remain unbeaten in regulation with Jim Montgomery behind the bench as they top the Calgary Flames 4-3 in overtime Thursday night.
Colton Parayko scored the game winner 2:25 into the extra frame. Parayko poked a loose puck passed Flames’ goaltender Dan Vladar and made contact with Vladar’s left pad. The goal was under a lengthy review but was determined a good goal.
Robert Thomas added a goal and two assists, and Jordan Binnington made 36 saves in the win.
St. Louis (13-12-2) are 4-0-1 with Montgomery at the helm and play at Edmonton on Saturday night at 9:00pm. Coverage starts at 8:30pm on B104.3.
