(St. Louis, MO) The St. Louis Cardinals picked up a crucial series victory over the Milwaukee Brewers with a 3-0 win Thursday afternoon. All the Cardinal runs came in the 7th inning as Wilson Contreras walked with the bases loaded, Brendan Donovan collected an RBI on a sac-fly, and Nolan Arenado singled.
Victor Scott II was 3-for-4 with a double and Miles Mikolas pitch six shutout innings with three strikeouts. Masyn Winn and Alec Burleson each collected two hits in the win.
The Brewers had just three hits in the game and left six runners on base.
