(Bonne Terre, MO) The city of Bonne Terre will be visited by Astronauts fromNASA this Saturday as The program Women in Space is presented at the Space Museum and Grissom Center. The President of the museum, Earl Mullins, says he has always looked up to the scientists and astronauts at NASA and he's discovered they may be flyin high in sapce yet they're very down to earth.
Mullins adds the keynote speaker for the event will be retired NASA Astronaut, Eileen Collins. The program also features presentations from NASA Spacesuit Designer Amy Ross, retired Shuttle Food and Product Support Manager Karen Ross, International Space Station EVA Flight Director Megan Shutika, and Karen Gibson author of the book "Women in Space". You can participate in meet and greets with the presenters and book signings with the authors. Tickets are $50 each before the event and $60 at the door provided any are still available. Lunch will be provided with a ticket purchase. The Show Me Space program is set for May 6th at the museum in Bonne Terre.
