Avoid Road Distractions this Summer

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Travel during the summer months can be dangerous since many families are driving through states they are unfamiliar with as they make their way to vacation destinations.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Corporal, Dallas Thompson, says it's important to stay attentive while you drive.

Thompson adds it is important to be prepared with a road kit containing things needed in an emergency.The kits can be tailored to individual seasons.
