Byington Charged in Murder of Missing Woman

(Bollinger County, MO) A Bollinger County resident, Kyle Byington, is charged with the death of Jennifer Porzeinski. She had been reported as missing to the Madison County Sheriff's office March 16th. After an investigation involving the Bollinger County Sheriff's Office, and investigators with the Highway Patrol, human remains were found on Byington's property in a shallow grave. An autopsy was performed and it was determined it was Porzeinski's body. The autopsy also showed the cause of death was compression of the neck possibly due to strangulation. Byington was charged with a Class A Felony of Murder in the 1st. Degree and a Class E Felony of Abandonment of a Corpse. Byington has been denied bond upon the issuance of the arrest warrant and he was booked into the Bollinger County Jail.
