Chamber Members Hear About Stress

(Desloge, MO) Members of the Desloge Chamber of Commerce are looking at stress differently after Tuesday's monthly investor luncheon. The guest speaker fort the event was Gabe Crawford of Mineral Area Psychiatric Services in Partnership with Parkland Health Center. Crawford told the audience as COVID restrictions are being lifted, many people have a different situation to face now, and we should help each other.

Crawford also said just talking about the problems is helpful in fighting COVID depression. The Chamber Spotlight at the Desloge Chamber of Commerce meeting was on the Backstoppers organization. The group helps financially protect the future of the families of emergency services personnel and first responders if that officer or responder is killed in the line of duty.
