Chamber Previews Shepherd Mountain Bike Park

(Farmington, MO) The Shepherd Mountain Bike Park is a topic of much discussion after Thursday's Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce meeting. An advisor to the City of Ironton, in regards to the new park, Klint Silvey, was the chamber's featured speaker. He told the crowd the new park is expected to bring a better economic future to the area.

Silvey adds the park is now open and families are moving into the area permanently, as well as mountain bike enthusiasts who visit the park. Silvey adds Sports Illustrated Magazine has visited the park and the big National Mountain Bike Race is set for May 2nd.
