(Park Hills, MO) A Farmington man, 60 year old Robert James Clavier, is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter, and tampering with physical evidence after police found the body of 33 year old Kelly Eckhoff in a wooded area of St. Joe State Park Hills Thursday. According to reports Eckhoff's body was discovered about 11 am during a Missouri Department of Corrections K9 training exercise. Clavier is alleged to have picked up Eckhoff at a convenience store parking lot in Farmington. He then drove her to St. Joe State Park where she allegedly overdosed. Clavier is said to have taken her out of his vehicle and left her in the park. Even though an autopsy was performed the cause of death is unknown. Toxicology tests are pending. Clavier is being held without bond at the St. Francois County Jail, He has an initial court date Tuesday in St. Francois County circuit court.
