Checking for Children in the Heat

(St. Francois County, MO) During this time of extreme heat officials are reminding parents to always keep an eye on young children especially when they travel in car seats. A Meteorologist with the National Weather Service, Marshall Pfahler, says always check the well being of kids especially in hot weather.

The National Weather service has predicted we should see some relief from the high temperatures Saturday with a high of 91. The excessive heat warning we're currently under expires at 10 pm Friday.
