(Farmington, MO) Farmington business and community leaders are thinking about how what effect new legislation from state legislators might have in the area after Thursday's Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce meeting. State Senator, Elaine Gannon, was a speaker at the meeting along with State Representatives Mike Henderson and Dale Wright. Gannon talked about two bills she sponsored including one dealing with protective orders.
Gannon explained her second bill to sponsor concerned workmen's compensation.
Henderson and Wright added to Gannon's points by informing the crowd of the budget effort for the 34 billion dollar package approved for Missouri. They also mentioned the approval of the first official Sate Monument in Missouri...the St. Louis Arch.
