Farmington Man in Jefferson County Wreck

(Jefferson County, MO) A man from Farmington, 40 year old Daniel A. Jones, is recovering from moderate injuries after a traffic accident in Jefferson County Friday afternoon. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say Jones was driving north on Highway 67, at Flucom Road, when an SUV driven south on 67, by 87 year old Andrew J. Tonas of De Soto, attempted to make a left turn onto Flucom Road East and drove into the path of the car driven by Jones causing the two to collide. Jones and Tonas, who received minor injuries, were taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. They were both wearing their seat belts during the crash.
