Hillsboro Woman Injured in Washington County Accident

(Washington County, MO) A Hillsboro woman is hospitalized following a 1-car crash in Washington County. It happened Sunday night at around 8:30 in the 11,000 block of Highway 8. That's where the Missouri Highway Patrol says that 40 year old Rachael L. Nelson was headed east when she failed to negotiate a curve and went off the right side of the road - hitting a tree and a telephone pole. She was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in serious condition. She was not wearing her seat belt.
