Iron County Shooting Investigation

(Ironton, MO) Iron County Sheriff's officials are investigation the shooting death of 77 year old Frank G. Browers. Reports indicate Browers was shot and killed last Thursday. Browers lived on Iron County Road 39, just outside Ironton City limits and reports show he was shot in his chest and head. It's alleged Browers was shot just before 2 p.m., possibly in his own yard. Browers was pronounced dead at the scene and autopsy results are pending. A suspect, 30 year old Marion Leon Keenan, was taken into custody and charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action.
