Laubinger Announces Candidacy for 117th District

(Desloge, MO) A Desloge resident, Becky Laubinger, is announcing her candidacy for the 117th District State Representative position currently held by Representative Mike Henderson. Henderson is term limited and cannot run for another session in the house. Laubinger, who is the Executive Director of the Parkland Pregnancy Resource Center,has been with the center for 12 years. She's also a 1998 graduate of Missouri Baptist University and has worked in service, construction, as a substitute teacher, and in government. Term limits in Missouri prevent a legislator from serving more than a total of eight years in any one house of the Missouri General Assembly, and no more than 16 years total in both houses of the General Assembly. Senate terms run 4 years, and State Representatives are in office for 2 years a term.
