Missouri Highway Mowing Season

(St. Francois County, MO) It's the time of year we begin to see mowers at the side of the road clearing out weeds and tall grass. An Area Engineer with the Missouri Department of Transportation, Brian Okenfuss, says the department will have trucks following the mowers as a safety measure but it's always a good idea to keep a lookout for them.

Okenfuss reminds drivers if you do pass a MODOT mower, be sure you have plenty of highway length and room to do so.
