(Park Hills, MO) Several public hearings will be held this evening at the beginning of the Park Hills City Council meeting at 6 o'clock. The first in the series of hearings will ask residents their opinion on rezoning 305 and 307 Front Street, in the old Elvins area, so developers can build a new Roy's Convenience Store. The second hearing is to announce a possible change of zoning at 601 North St. Joe Drive to allow personal storage and an auto repair business. The additional hearings would gauge interest in a special use permit to allow the sale of weapons and ammunition from a private residence at 303 Ninth Street, family and commercial business units at 3214 Conway Road, and an apartment complex at 4810 Red Rooster Road. The purchase of a new police cruiser, rock breaker, and asphalt roller are also on the agenda.
