Park Hills Leadington Chamber Awards Banquet

(Park Hills, MO) Members of the Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce are looking ahead to the new year after Saturday night's annual awards banquet. Several awards were handed out including the Lifetime Achievement Award that went to Bob Gerig and Kevin and Lori Ball. The KFMO B104 Kelly Valley Sweat Equity Award was given to Jon Berry and Park Hills Save a Lot while the Ambassador Award went to Yvette Smith. Rachel St. Pierre was given the Chamber's Friend Award and DJ Edwards received the KREI KTJJ 110% Award. The Daily Journal Citizen of the Year Award was given to several people. It was awarded to Park Hills Utility Director Frank Shovlin and crew, Park Hills Fire Department Chief Brad Weiss and crew, the Bonne Terre Water Department's Wesley Dodson and crew, and Bonne Terre City Administrator Shawn Kay. The group received the award for their work in coming together for the community during our recent bout of extreme cold that caused many water lines to burst and a pump to go down for the Park Hills Water Department. The Service Above Self Award from the St. Francois County Rotary went to The Executive Director of the Chamber, Tammi Coleman.
