(Park Hills, MO) Members and officials of the Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce are looking forward to the future of business in the area after Saturday's Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce annual award banquet. Chamber leaders awarded two Lifetime Achievement awards. One was given to St. Francois County Associate Commissioner Kary Buckley. Buckley, who began Buckley's Towing in the 1980's, says he's humbled by the award.
The second lifetime Achievement Award was given to Will and Glenda Straughan. Other awards at the Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet included The Chamber's Ambassador of the Year award which went to Paula Golden. The Chamber's Friend Award was given to the Executive Director's of the Desloge and Bonne Terre Chamber's of Commerce, and the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce including Cheri Henderson, Leigha Head, and Candy Hente. The KFMO B104 Kelly Valley Sweat Equity Award was given to Bob Monks. The KREI KTJJ 100% Award went to Proffer Produce. The Daily Journal Citizen of the Year Award was handed out to Brandon and Nicole Hassell and the Chamber's Legacy Award went to the family of Paula Lee. The St. Francois County Rotary Service Above Self Award was given to Mark Halter. A Special Recognition Award was given to the Executive Director of the Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce, Tammi Coleman, from the chamber's board of directors for 25 years of employment with the chamber.
