Park Hills Women Die in Traffic Accident

(Washington County, MO) Two women from Park Hills, 61 year old Karen L. Medlin and 90 year old Norma R. Montgomery, are dead after their SUV was hit head on by a pick up Sunday afternoon in Washington County. Highway Patrol reports show the wreck took place at 3:15 as the SUV, driven by Medlin, was going west at 24505 Highway 185 when the east bound truck, driven by 55 year old Robert J. Schneider, of Park HIlls, wound up in the westbound lane. The two vehicles crashed into each other killing the two women. A 10 year old male juvenile in Schneider's truck received minor injuries. Schneider, who was moderately injured, was taken to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis while the boy was taken to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
