(St. Francois County, MO) Three people are suffering injuries after a traffic accident on Highway 67 in St. Francois County Monday afternoon just after 1 o'clock. According to Highway Patrol reports a car driven east on Hildebrecht Road, by 69 year old Beverly L. Mapes, of Farmington, attempted to cross Highway 67. Mapes didn't yield to a couple of pickup trucks headed south on the highway. One of the trucks, driven by 31 year old Adam T. Whited of Fredericktown, smashed into her car causing it to spin clockwise. The second pickup going south, driven by 39 year old J.D. Jagelovicz, of Fredericktown, also crashed into Mape's car pushing it off the road. Mapes was seriously injured and was flown to Mercy Hospital at St, Louis. Whited who was moderately injured, and his passenger, 26 year old Brittney R. Aubertin, who received minor injuries, were taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington. Jagelovicz was not injured. Everyone was wearing their seat belts when the wreck took place.
