St. Francois County Wreck

(St. Francois County, MO) Two Bonne Terre residents, 74 year old Vada J. Pikey and 42 year old Jason B. Sutton, are suffering serious injuries after they were injured in a three vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon about 1:30 in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol reports show Pikey was driving east on Shannon Road when she turned onto Highway 67 South. Pikey didn't yield to a car driven south on 67 by Sutton. Sutton's car crashed into Pikey's vehicle and then it ran into the front of a diesel tractor trailer headed north by 38 year old Michael J. Miller, of Holmerville, Georgia.Sutton and Pikey were taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. Everyone involved in the accident was wearing their safety device at the time of the wreck.
