The Berry Road Bridge Project

(Bonne Terre, MO) The Berry Road Bridge project, in St. Francois County, continues to move forward. The Highway Administrator of the St. Francois County Road and Bridge Department, John Gross, says the project has been awarded a grant from the Governor's office to assist in completing construction.

Gross adds the design work for the Berry Road Bridge is complete. St. Francois County Commissioners have not received a program agreement from the state yet. Gross explains the funds wont be released before March. The cost share grant will provide about half the cost of the bridge project. ARPA funding from the federal government will provide the rest.
