Troop F Shootout Boat Race

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri State Water Patrol Troopers the Highway Patrol's F Troop, headquartered at Jefferson City, are informing boaters of an offshore boat race event. The Power Boat Shootout Boat Race will take place this Saturday and Sunday from approximately the 33 mile mark to the 35 mile mark at Lake of the Ozarks. Powerboat racing begins at 8:30 each morning. Boaters navigating near the race should expect congestion in the area. Troopers, as well as event staff, will be located around the course and will assist boaters in locating the designated areas for spectator anchoring.
