Washington County Wreck Injures 2

(Washington County, MO) A head on crash, between a car and a van, Thursday night in Washington County, leaves two people injured. Highway Patrol Reports show 37 year old Alise Phillips, of St. Clair, was moderately injured and 32 year old Lee Zettler, of Richwoods, received Minor injuries. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say the wreck took place at 6:30 on Highway 47, at Route C, as Zettler, who was headed west, didn't yield to Phillips car, that was traveling east, causing the head on collision. Zettler, who was not wearing his seat belt, was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital at Potosi. Phillips, who was wearing hers, was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
