Wind Causes Dump Truck Rollover

(Jefferson County, MO) A Potosi man, 44 year old John H. Jolly, is recovering from serious injuries after he was hurt in a rollover dump truck accident that was caused by a heavy gust of wind Thursday morning. Highway Patrol records indicate Jolly was driving the dump truck north, and unloading its contents, on the lot of the Jefferson County Highway Department, on Lee Pyle Road, just before 7 o'clock. The report shows a heavy gust of wind struck the truck's left side causing it to roll over. Jolly was not wearing his seat belt. He was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson.
